Welcome to CareFully!
This comprehensive guide will help you set up and use the Family App to coordinate care for your loved ones. CareFully brings your care circle together, making it easier to manage medications, appointments, documents, and daily care activities.You can also link with professional carers who use the CareFully Professional App, allowing seamless data sharing and enhanced coordination of care.


Step 1: Try Demo Mode First

Before entering real data, explore CareFully using Demo Mode. This provides sample data so you can familiarise yourself with all features risk-free.
Navigate to Settings → Account.Enable Demo Mode: Toggle on "Demo Mode" to load realistic sample data across all features
Explore Freely: Test medications, events, notes, chat, and all other features without affecting real data
When ready for real use, toggle off Demo Mode
Recommended: Spend 10-15 minutes in Demo Mode to understand the workflow before managing real care data.

Step 2: Care Recipient Profile Setup

Setting up your care recipient's profile is the foundation of using CareFully effectively.
Navigate to Settings → Care Recipient to get started.Add Care Recipient: Click "Add Care Recipient" and enter their basic details
Essential Information: Fill in name, date of birth, and contact details
Medical Profile: Complete the medical information including:
NHS Number: For healthcare identification
Blood Type: Critical for emergencies
Allergies: List all known allergies
Medical Conditions: Document existing conditions
Height & Weight: For medication dosing
Address & Postcode: For emergency services
What3Words Location: Precise location finder
Next of Kin: Emergency contact details
Photo: Upload a recent photo
Review Terms: Read and accept the terms and conditions
Save Profile: Click "Save" to create the profile
Why This Matters: A complete profile ensures emergency services and healthcare providers have all critical information instantly accessible when every second counts.

Linking with Professional Carers
CareFully allows you to link your family account with professional carers, enabling seamless data sharing and collaboration. Navigate to Settings → Link to Professional Carer.To Link with a Professional Carer:
Ask your professional carer for their Care Recipient ID
Enter the ID in the "Link to Professional Carer" section
Click "Link Account"
Once linked, a  icon will appear in the header
What Gets Shared:
• Medications and schedules
• Calendar events and appointments
• Medical notes and alerts
• Documents and records
• Chat messages (visible to both)
Important: Your data remains under your control. You can unlink at any time from the Settings page.

Step 3: Using Core Features

CareFully provides a comprehensive suite of tools accessible from the bottom navigation bar.
📊 Dashboard
Your central hub showing upcoming events, recent messages, medication reminders, medical alerts, and device status at a glance
📅 Calendar
Manage appointments, doctor visits, and care activities. Export to PDF for sharing with healthcare providers
💊 Medications
Track all medications with dosages, frequencies, and specific times. Set up reminders to never miss a dose
📝 Medical Notes
Document symptoms, care observations, and instructions. Categorise by type (alerts, symptoms, appointment notes, etc.)
📄 Documents
Store and organise medical records, prescriptions, insurance cards, and care plans in one secure location
💬 Chat
Communicate with your care circle and linked professional carers in real-time📍
Location Tracking
Premium
Track your loved one's location using PAJ GPS trackers or mobile phone tracking for peace of mind
💰 Financials
Premium
Manage care-related finances, track expenses, and monitor recurring payments

Step 4: Customising Your Settings

The Settings section is where you manage your account, team, devices, and subscription.Care Recipient Profile
Edit and update the main profile (as described in Step 1).Family Access (Contacts Tab)
Invite User: If you're the "Owner" of the care circle, you can invite other family members or caregivers by email. You can set specific permissions for each invited user.
Important Contacts: Add and manage other key contacts (doctors, pharmacies, neighbors, etc.) and mark them as emergency contacts if needed.
Connected Devices (Devices Tab)
Add Device: Connect location trackers, smartwatches, or other devices. For PAJ GPS trackers, you'll need to enter your PAJ GPS account credentials and the device identifier.
Manage Devices: View active devices, edit their settings, and see their connection status.
Subscription (Plan Tab)
View Plan: See whether you're on the Free or Premium plan.
Upgrade: Unlock unlimited access to events, medications, notes, documents, location tracking, and financial management by upgrading to Premium.
Manage Subscription: Access the Stripe Customer Portal to update payment methods or cancel your subscription.
Account Tab
View Account Info: See your email, name, role, and plan level.
Demo Mode Toggle: Switch between demo data and your real data.
User Manual: Access this guide anytime.
Terms & Conditions: Review the app's terms.
Logout: Sign out of your account.

Welcome to CareFully Professional! This guide will help you manage your clients' care profiles efficiently. The Professional App allows you to track multiple care recipients, manage their medications, appointments, and medical information in one centralised location.You can also link with families using the CareFully Family App, enabling two-way data synchronisation and improved collaboration in care delivery.


Step 1: Try Demo Mode First
Before entering real data, explore CareFully using Demo Mode.
This provides sample data so you can familiarise yourself with all features risk-free. Navigate to Settings → Account.Enable Demo Mode: Toggle on "Demo Mode" to load realistic sample data across all features
Explore Freely: Test medications, events, notes, chat, and all other features without affecting real data
Clear Demo Data: When ready for real use, toggle off Demo Mode and click "Clear Demo Data"
Recommended: Spend 10-15 minutes in Demo Mode to understand the workflow before managing real care data

Step 2: Adding your first Client
Adding client profiles allows you to manage multiple care recipients efficiently. Navigate to Settings → Care Recipients to get started.

a. Add New Client: Click "Add Care Recipient" to create a new client profile
b. Client Selection: Use the dropdown in the header to switch between clients
c. Complete Medical Profile: Fill in all relevant medical and contact information for each client
Personal Details: Name, DOB, photo
Medical Info: NHS number, blood type, allergies, conditions
Location: Address, postcode, What3Words
Emergency Contact: Next of kin details
Link with Families: Share your Care Recipient ID with families to enable two-way data sync (see Linking section below)
Pro Tip: Keep all client profiles updated. Changes made here will automatically sync with linked family accounts.Linking with Families
The Professional App enables two-way synchronisation with family accounts. Navigate to Settings → Link to Family.To Link with a Family:
Select the client/care recipient you want to link
Copy your Care Recipient ID and share it with the family
The family enters this ID in their Family App
Once linked, a  icon will appear next to the client name
Data Synchronisation:
• Real-time updates from families appear in your dashboard
• Your updates sync automatically to the family account
• All team members see the same current information
• Chat messages are shared between both apps
Pro Tip: Link status is shown in the client selector dropdown. Look for the  icon.

Switch Clients Easily: Use the client dropdown in the header to navigate between care recipients quickly
Link with Families: Share your Care Recipient ID with families to enable two-way data synchronisation
Check Link Status: Look for the  icon in the client selector to see which clients are linked with families
Keep Profiles Updated: Changes sync automatically with linked families, keeping everyone informed
Use Chat for Team Coordination: Communicate directly with families through the integrated chat system
